Established by the Institute of Textiles and Clothing (ITC), ITC STORE serves as an innovative fashion lifestyle lab to cultivate and support our next generation of local creative and professional fashion talents. With the support from PolyU, participating local designers, and industry partners, ITC STORE provides a unique learning and teaching platform for ITC students and local design graduates to showcase their designs and made them available to international customers. The platform also encourages people to know and appreciate local designs. ITC STORE reflects “3-S”:
1) STUDY: To provide excellent opportunities for ITC students to learn and practice the full cycle of omnichannel at our online-to-offline retail platform and social media. The offline and online platforms offer a real-life business setting for both academia and students to undertake research and experiment with their innovative ideas in retail marketing and design;
2) SHOP: To offer an online-to-offline platform where ITC students and local design graduates can showcase their designs;
3) SOCIAL: To facilitate academia-industry collaborative projects that promote and instil social values in branding and business development through engaging students and public in design workshops, industry collaborative projects, seminars.
